Installation and Adjustment of Tubular Screw Conveyor

(1) There should be a good coaxiality between the centerline of the conveyor trough and the screw shaft, and the joints between the troughs should be tightly connected to avoid the phenomenon of misalignment. In addition, in terms of the sealing of the trough, gaskets can be added appropriately to improve its sealing performance.

(2) In terms of coaxiality, in addition to the center line of the trough and the screw shaft, it is also required to have good coaxiality between the drive device shaft and the screw shaft. The height of the drive unit can be adjusted by shims.

(3) After the spiral body is installed, the static balance test should be carried out immediately. The intermediate suspension bearing should be able to be well connected with the supporting connecting shaft to prevent radial deformation of the screw shaft.

(4) After the Tubular Screw Conveyor is installed as a whole, it needs to be inspected and lubricated. During the test run, the temperature rise of the bearing cannot exceed the specified requirements.
